(SPOILERS)
As everyone is already saying, the movie itself is quite predictable which is a little bit of a downer when it is supposed to be a big break through when she finds out about her mom. But it really isn't because the mom is portrayed as dark right from the get-go.
The movie would have been better if not for the ending. Something about making the abused into an abuser at the end really down plays her victory of getting out of the situation. Instead of the relief of her escape it's more of an "oh great" when she pulls out the pills while visiting her mom. To me, it isn't thrilling it is just stupid and I wish it ended differently. Other than that I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Maybe I would if I told them not to watch the last 5 minutes.
