As an American I can't say enough to express my admiration for Colbert holding the Trump administration's collective feet to the fire. As a musician however, I have a bone of curiosity to pick with the fabulous John Batiste. I've never seen a band where the guitar player stands rather obscured way in the back, behind the bass player??? Especially a fabuous player like Maddie Rice?? What the heck is up with that?
