as a huge adventure time fan, this spin off exceeded my expectations beyond belief. It pays respects to the original adventure time series in more ways than one but is also original in alot of ways too. I loved that they were able to essentially “let loose” a bit more since this was with Max instead of Cartoon network, it definitely had a more mature approach with relationships and occasional curse words. Personally I thought it was funny, beautiful, and we gained some answers across many storylines that were left unfinished with the original series. This was a solid 10/10 for me personally.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this game!!! If you don’t like potential spoilers, don’t read my review. The Metroid games are my favorite Nintendo games of all time above pretty much anything else Nintendo puts out. I have been waiting so long for a brand new Metroid game and this one has exceeded all expectations. One of my things about Metroid Fusion was being chased by the SA-X the entire game and the intensity that that element brought with it. Metroid Dread took that concept and RAN with it and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. Not to mention that they pretty much pick up right where Fusion left off in terms of storyline and they give you some direction and back story at the beginning of the game. I love the intensity, the gameplay is great, it also reminds me a lot of Metroid 2 Samus Returns for the 3DS (which is another masterpiece, I 10/10 recommend!) Regardless, if you’re a die-hard Metroid fan, you’ll love this game. I couldn’t say enough good things!!!!
