SPOILER ALERT To people who say the ending was just because they ran out of time for a shoot, WRONG if you do some research there is a movie made waayyyy before this that’s exactly the same it’s just not in an escape room or for a YouTube celebration the movie is called the game it was made in 1997 so this isn’t a new thing it was purposely done not just because they ran out of ideas or time to shoot the film…..and at the end when alexei is trying to tell him it’s all fake and his friends are still alive Cole doesn’t let him speak and automatically bolts towards him and of course alexei is freaking out because Cole has a gun and that wasn’t apart of the prank, yes I understand Cole’s mindset is what made him act out the way he did but all in all that ending was most likely the original ending they had and it’s not just a lazy ending. There’s a movie called spontaneous and that movie is just to tell you that you can die at any moment it has no purpose except the meaning it gives no explanation sometimes you just have to accept a movie for what it is wether if it’s for the looks or for the metaphor. Although one thing I can’t understand is when Cole got the gun to begin with and there were real bullets inside, that confused me because if they are pranking him why use real bullets and even if you use it for the real ness Cole’s mind is still gonna be set on it all being legit and not a game. Idk I loved the dang movie it was a nice little twist at the end.
