Disappointing overall. This film was an amazing opportunity to recapture the magic and nostalgia of its prequels, especially considering the classic 80's synthy style is so in at the moment (stranger things a beautiful example). And it wasted Sarah Conner's return with a weak storyline for her, and Linda Hamiltons incredible acting. I didn't feel any real emotion of any of the characters, except for how let down I was for Sarah Conners role in the plot. Which was the ultimate downfall of the film. Especially considering the connection between the characters and their development in T2. And The terminator himself was forgettable. This film doesn't count as a sequel in my mind. Overall this film lacked the style, horror, strength of plot and characters that T2 had in spaits. Perhaps this film needed James Cameron's direction as well. I felt let down.
