It was ok. I give the direction 5 stars. The overall score for the movie, I would give 3 stars out of 5. Visually amazing. You could see a lot “300” in the cinematography and fight scenes. There were a couple of things that were annoying and felt like filler that just made the movie drag. One, halfway through, it turns into an Indiana Jones romantic comedy that was just a waste of time. That leads to the second issue, the humor or attempts at humor felt forced and almost every shot of Momoa could have been the cover of a romance novel - it just seemed cheesy and like they were trying hard to sell his charisma. The supporting cast did a great job of carrying the acting. If Thor Ragnorok married Wonder Woman, you’d get Aquaman.
