I’m a huge fan of the franchise, and absolutely loved the previous Godzilla film. But I have no idea what the rest of these reviewers are on about - I’ve been anticipating this movie for so long and it was a huge letdown. The worst plot I’ve ever seen in any movie, with 90% of the movie on about some dumb nonsensical plot line with minimal monster screen time, only to get that sweet sweet battle right at the end. This movie could’ve been better if it was only the final 15 minutes. I paid to watch my favourite monsters battle, and I had to sit through a plot that left me bewildered by its atrocity to finally get to the action. I’d rather rewatch Godzilla: King of the Monsters in cinema.
