Definitely not for people who dislike a bit of gore/ fake blood. It’s also not as much suspenseful scary as it is jumpscare scary. However it is the kind of paranormal horror that I like so it really is about what you like.

This movie changed an amazing animated show on Nick to a steaming pile of garbage. Now the rant. We will start with their mispronunciation on basically everything. Avatar is now Awvatar sometimes even ovotar. Sokka is Soka. Aang is Aung. The cast was terrible. The acting was nothing like the personalities of the original characters in the show. Aang is timid and shy and not the fun and courageous boy that he was in 2005-2008. Sokka is a dark brooding character. Not the amazing planner and jokester he was in the show. Special effects in this show were not good even in 2010. This movie may have been good if it came out later in the decade. Michal Night Shyamalan could have done amazing things if he had followed the show better. Too much dialogue sometimes not enough other times. There was no balance at all. Hopefully they try to remake it in this later time. This movie was a sad excuse for Avatar: The Last Airbender. I loved the show and was sad that they made a great show into the crappiest movie.
