It was a great mystery with a complex and very satisfying ending and, along the way, interesting, stand alone sub-stories solved by both characters. Neither dominated the other. Their relationship included gentle teasing but always woth respect and it took its time over 10 episodes to become closer but with plea of space left at the end for growth. On top of all the, it showcased Australia's geographical and demographic diversity with attention paid to some of today's biggest socal challenges (ageism, racism, etc.) but without leturing or posturing. A thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening series!

The acting was amazing - so natural, it seemed like a documentary that was capturing a reality no one wants to see.
