Oh my gosh! I watched tonight's episode, and I was so mad that Gabe was gonna get away with rape, murder, AND attempted murder! I'm still furious about it. It kept my attention throughout the entire episode. I absolutely recommend this show to anyone, everyone, who likes a good (GREAT) cop and courtroom drama. And, I like that Rollins and Carisi are getting closer. Oh, and the best news of all!! Rollins told Carisi that SVU was short staffed, so guess where I'm applying?????

The other night, I watched the 2019 Halloween Wars, and I didn't like it. I was SO looking forward to the new season, but after watching the first 24 minutes, I changed the channel. The judges were sitting on couches, talking, while I wanted to see the contestants. I don't like the background. I liked the professional kitchen from earlier seasons. The teams just don't seem to be on the same level as previous teams. Why is it so hard for Food Network to continue their Halloween Wars success? (I am available for consultation, to get the show's ratings back up where they used to be.) What a let down. I guess I'll see what Maggie is doing. (The Walking Dead.)

This baking competition is like no other. The themes are Halloween-based, so there are usually some pretty disgusting looking cakes, but the way they decorate their cakes--WOW!! (Pete's crooked Zombie cake in the 2019 finale was my favorite!) But, there is one thing I absolutely despise in this competition--the costumes the judges wear at the end of the episodes. I hate these costumes!! They usually just look extremely silly, and they bring the show way down.

After watching this movie, I now believe in Santa Claus. He brings toys and candy to kids on Christmas eve, has a naughty list (spoiler alert--the bad guys are on the naughty list!), and carries a big...hammer? I definitely want the soundtrack to this movie. All my favorite Christmas songs were on it, and were played very jollyly during the fight scenes. Definitely watch Home Alone, another Christmas classic before seeing Violent Night. About the movie--this was definitely a different take on a Christmas movie. Bad guys are stealing money from a wealthy family and killing people left and right, but Santa fights back! I would watch it again and again, and I think this ranks right up there with Home Alone, Die Hard, and A Christmas Story. Watch this movie if you like action flicks, but just remember one thing--you have to believe.

Yesterday, I got a one way ticket to the Danger Zone. Yeah, I was flying in an F-18 with Tom Cruise himself, and WOW--it was a rush. When the movie first started, I could actually feel the cables grabbing hold of my aircraft and stopping it. Throughout the entire movie, I was jerked to the right, then to the left, as I assisted Maverick and the others (Rooster, Phoenix, Bob) navigate through the valley on the way to destroy the target. During the entire movie, I kept thinking--WOW, WOW, WOW, this is great! One thing I would've changed in the movie--when Hondo is talking to Maverick for what he thinks will be the last time he sees him, Hondo should've addressed Maverick as Admiral, not Captain, because just then, I think Maverick displayed the characteristics of an Admiral!
