I still haven’t forgotten about getting groomed by Marcos in the official discord. Nor the fact that the devs gave no shit about it. Chris was brought evidence of what Marcos was doing, and all he did was demote the guy (but still let him exist in the server mind you, because letting someone who has evidence of being a predator continue to be in your server is such a smart idea!). Then when people got fed up? “We didn’t create Everhood to run a community,” (real quote from a real announcement). Shouldn’t have made a discord server then. Busy or not you still have responsibility. Also to immediately announce a giveaway for a Blue plush only six days later??? Shows how much you cared. Never even gave an apology to anyone, at least Jordi gave a half assed one on Twitter (no personal apologies though), you didn’t even do that. I do also think it’s quite crazy you had Kraft be an official animator on the sequel Chris. She used to be one of the mods for the server. Last time I checked, didn’t she used to be good buddies with Marcos? And when shit hit the fan, didn’t she and Ruins try to save face and cover up the fact that anything happened? Still haven’t forgotten how they tried to pin the blame on one of Marcos’ other victims, someone he sent NSFW to when they were underage. I think it’s absolutely crazy that you’d let someone who was complacent with people getting groomed and chased work on your game like as if nothing happened. I’m still grappling with the trauma I’ve been left with, and it hurts big time seeing my trauma basically get swept under the rug while shitty people get rewarded. I genuinely did really love this game years ago. I loved the music, the visuals appealed to me so heavily, and genuinely this game was what inspired and helped me decide that I wanted to be a game dev. And all I got in return was a spit in the face.
