I have second-hand embarrassment for McCarthy. He has an axe to grind over an article that was written over 30 years ago. I was intrigued to know just what was said in this article so I googled it. Turns out, McCarthy is literally mentioned one time in the article. My guess is that is why he’s so bitter.
