Wait, this movie was made in 1998? Unbelievable, literally I am out of words. Hat's off to Speilberg and his entire crew. Watched this movie so many times, yet I never got bored watching this masterpiece. I have seen a lot, I mean a LOT OF war movies, but this movie is unarguably the BEST MOVIE EVER MADE IN THIS GENRE! The sound mixing was great. The actors did a great job, especially Tom Hanks. He literally owns this movie . It's a terrorism that the movie didn't get the Academy Award for Best movie. I won't be providing any kinda spoilers but I just want to make this clear. The movie has some REALLY REALLY VIOLENT AND GORE scenes, which might be DAMN disturbing for young viewers. That violence was required though, so as to make this movie more realistic. And if you are here, then don't go through the negative views. They are just deluded who never understands a damn about movies, or probabably they became too scared to watch it. That's all I wanted to say. Just go ahead and watch it, you won't be disappointed I'm sure. My rating: 9.5/10
