As huge fans of the cartoon and the comics I’d say Netflix did a pretty good job! Is it perfect? No, but it doesn’t need to be. Things we really liked: the bending and fights scenes are amazing, all the animals look great, the outfits and scenery were great, and some of the blend of episodes worked. Personally, I like Sonja, Suki, Ozai, and Zuko the best. Things we didn’t like: it felt a little rushed at times, the acting isn’t great and there’s little chemistry between the main 3 characters and some of the episodes (omashu) just didn’t make sense or blend well. I’d love to give netflix more feedback but don’t want spoil for those who haven’t seen it yet. Overall though, we’re happy with it and hope we get the next two seasons.
