65 has become my comfort movie. I have watched it many times. Of course as you can see by my username, I'm a huge fan of Adam. However, I do not care for several of his movies, so my love for this movie is not entirely based on my favorite actor starring in it. 65 is a simple movie. Bad thing happens, good guy rescues the sole survivor from harrowing danger. They bond in a father-daughter way. They have cute moments and heartbreaking moments. The child saves him a few times and it's all very adorable. The scenery and music in this movie is gorgeous. The soundtrack is my favorite ever. Adam has to do most of his acting non-verbally. His eyes and body language are mostly what he uses and he's absolutely amazing in this. Some of his best acting. Ariana is a great young actress, also non-verbal in many scenes. Their chemistry is amazing. The movie is so good and I hate that people refuse to watch it. The only criticism I have is that it ends so abruptly. I wish the story had been expanded on at the end. I also wish it was longer and that the scenes that were cut out were in the movie. I love that Adam was so involved in the making of the film. He has said that he made this movie for his son, who loves dinosaurs. So if anything, watch it for that reason.
