A sequel which managed to improve and respect its original film - no moment was wasted, the nostalgia warm and genuine, and minimal CGI usage utilized to the fullest. The growth of the main character was palpable and organic as real time passed, and the young guns held their own against the older (in age and experience) characters. The aerial stunts and shots were simply amazing, breathtaking, and engaging - they will leave you at the edge of your seat. The training montages and the mission itself were awe-inspiring and exciting to watch; and they deftly explain and add immensely to the plot. The beach team-building scene was a fun respite from the tension, danger, and gravity of the mission ahead. The rekindled romance between the main character and his on-screen significant other provided a refreshing and heartstrings-tugging contrast to his love affair in the original film, which was sultry and tempestuous. All in all, a wonderful, fun movie - expertly shot and made - definitely worth a watch!
