Goose Duck

I grew up watching Pee-Wee in the 80s. Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure is still one of my favorite movies! I would rent that tape every chance I got, and watch it on repeat. Now I’m happy to say, I’ve got a new favorite movie: Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday! I’m so glad Pee-Wee made this last film. It really is a gem. It’s got all the wholesome feels and weird vibes of the old stuff. And I have to say, Joe Manganiello deserves an Oscar for this film! His performance was wonderful, heart warming and unexpected, and the chemistry between him and Pee-Wee was just beautiful. I was so invested in these characters, I couldn’t stop watching, and it’s been a long while since I felt that way about any modern film. One final note, the opening scene was a bit uncomfortable, I wonder if he did that on purpose to weed out folks who judge a book by its cover, Lol. I’m telling you though, make it through that, and the rest of the movie is totally worth it. Thank you Pee-Wee, we love you 🙏🏼♥️
