If you greatly enjoyed his short story collections like different seasons or skeleton crew then I'd wager and say this one would be worth reading. Short, (but powerful)! , And it wouldn't take up much of your time. like an afternoon or two. Gave me echoes of the body( 'stand by me') and subtle gunslinger tones mayhap? In a weird way. So risk vs. reward is not too steep here for a vast portion of king readers. Just read it. It IS good Constant reader# 71
