Simply excellent. A true original. A really clever plot. Perfect take and utterly relatable for so many women (and men!) that have passed their peak in terms of looks, desirability, feeling of worthiness in work, at home and socially. For those who look in the mirror and mourn their past selves. Anyone beginning to feel like the slope is only downwards and speeding up beyond their control. This is a book that is worth picking up and finishing. And it’s very funny. I came out of it a different person, having laughed and cried throughout it.
