This was a moving inspirational condemnation of the greed of pollution inflicted upon a gentle people in 1971. Johnny Depp became Gene and was the exact person to touch and hold these survivors of industrial waste poisoning. I highly recommend this movie and most assuredly will be viewing it again. This is in the caliber of, "SILKWOOD." THIS MOVIE ILLUSTRATES AND SPEAKS TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION OF OUR PLANET, OUR PEOPLE IN THIS MOMENT. 51 YEARS LATER AND THIS DESTRUCTION CONTINUES.
