I've updated my review to make it more positive since the developer decided to listen to the players and make some changes. The new economy changes are a significant improvement and make the game a lot more fun to play. It's still very infuriating though at 9.0 in planes. The premium planes are significantly better than the free planes so it's basically pay to win or get killed every match by premiums. You cannot compete in the free planes, they're that much worse. At other ranks it's not too bad, just 9.0 is awful. Gaijin really needs to fix this either by making free planes better or premiums worse. To give an example you will often face the A10 which has missiles you can't evade no matter what you do. If you get in front of it and it has missiles you're dead.
