This is such an amazing volume... right in the middle of the Golden Age Arc, it really delivers the emotional hit that we've been waiting for. We finally start to understand Guts' motivations, and why he can't follow Griffith's. We see more about Casca and Griffith, developing them both more and showing us how and why they are the way they are. Berserk was amazing right off the bat but this is the volume I think it becomes a true masterpiece.

This anime was... amazing. There's no other way to describe it. It was amazing. The characters were great, the plot, while it was fairly simple, was incredibly engaging, the music was awesome, and it was overall a great show. It has great character development, and will take you on an emotional roller coaster. You WILL cry in Gurren Lagann, but you will also laugh, sympathize with characters, and have a wide range of emotions. The show has a lot of philosophical representation, which I think is one of the great appeals of it. So do yourself a favor and watch Gurren Lagann. You won't regret it.
