I am so glad that I didn't bother reading the critic's reviews before watching this film. I thought it was extremely well acted, and for once, the plot doesn't try to tie up grief in a predictable little package. Everyone experiences grief in a different way and on many different levels, and I felt that Melissa McCarthy and Chris O'Dowd did a wonderful job of portraying their characters and the daily struggles that they were facing in trying to move forward after their loss. There was enough humor throughout to keep it from being too depressing and enough sadness to still keep it honest. Excellent movie!
