A shallow book that clearly has a political agenda, and is contradictory in nature. Instead of trying to present a historical account, the author has whitewashed history to suit his needs. Netaji was defeated as early as 1945. There is no doubt that due to the atmosphere of anti-british sentiment in India at that time compounded by Gandhiji's Quit India movement, the British found it impossible to govern and had to free India. In fact, Netaji recognized Gandhiji's crucial contributions, and it was he who first referred to him as Father of the Nation from his radio address from Singapore. It is indeed upsetting how it has become a trend in India to vilify the Mahatma.
