A couple of things before I give my review. Don’t compare this movie to the original one, it’s a reimagined version not a remake. If you give it three stars and under because you compared it, stop rating movies. Second thing. If you’re a fan of Colleen Hoover and Nicolas Sparks, don’t rate this movie either. This is a dark romance. It's for the H.D Carlton and Rina Kent girlies of the world. With all that being said, I LOVED it! It’s my favourite movie so far this year. I’m a dark girl at heart and it’s finally nice to see a dark romance hit the screen. The only thing I regret is not going to the theatre to watch it. Bill is an incredible actor and he deserves an award for his amazing skills in this movie. I hope all of this negative press doesn’t discourage him from taking more of these parts because he really does do these dark roles impeccably.
