Aaron Smith

A return to form for Sally Rooney. A story I will definitely revisit in the future. I didn’t enjoy Rooney’s last book but I really enjoyed this one. I got really attached to the two brothers and I am glad that it ended on a positive note. What I liked about this book is there was no real heroes or villains, though the mother was a right piece of work and I could see why both of her sons kept her at arms length, it just seemed like flawed people navigating the complexities of life.
