The Guest by Emma Cline One star because cline took the time to put pen to paper. She did however, waste my time and money. This had to be the absolute worst novel I have ever read. No plot, no interesting characters that created a story, total drudgery to read, purposeless, no direction, dull, uninspiring, flat. Shame on Cline and shame on Random House. An insult to one’s intelligence.
