Spoiler warning
I watched 5 episodes hoping it would get better. Unfortunately in my opinion it didn't so I stopped watching it.
The story line is fragmented. American centric regardless of worldwide locations, and international characters. It's been said many times in the reviews that it is a story about people experiencing a dramatic event - this is true, the problem is the way it's written as a watcher I don't care about any of them, none of the characters or story lines gets enough screen time for us to get to know them to actually care.
And for those reviewers who have said that only a certain type of superior minded /high intellect person understand shows like this I say no. A good story tells itself, and you don't have to work this hard to make some sort of emotional connection.
Acting overall is great, I was sad to see Sam NeiI exit almost immediately what a waste of talent, and a wasted opportunity to have a strong anchor character somewhere in the show. Cinematography is great, it's atmospheric and beautifully lit , effects are good - Overall though I find this work self indulgent and I won't finish it.
