I was hoping for a thoughtful and insightful look into binge eating with Food Jail: Breaking the Bars of Binge Eating, but unfortunately, it missed the mark in nearly every way. The writing felt overly simplistic, bordering on patronizing, and didn’t offer any substantial new ideas or strategies for tackling binge eating. The book lacked depth and failed to provide concrete, evidence-based advice. It reads more like a collection of vague statements and clichés than a helpful guide.
