The acting was phenomenal. Marissa Abela gave a stellar performance doing all the vocals, no small feat for someone who never sang.
The story is what it is, Amy’s life. To dress it up any further would be total conjecture because she’s not here to tell us the details of how she was feeling at every turn. It safe to say Amy’s sense of self was poor and the only area of life that felt solid for her was music. Music was her wheelhouse and her only form of self expression. See it!
