104 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. The typical self-indulgence of so many independent films where vague and indecipherable plot lines careen haphazardly along in place of anything truly thought-provoking or compelling. Film makers need to understand that incoherence is a poor substitute for originality, and not every convoluted idea shared on cocktail napkins at 3:00 am needs to make its way into production.
