I'm not really sure why the film has recieved such negative reviews. I saw it & thought the film was great. I'm a fan of the Xmen comics, & though I wish the film studios would do a story line that was more faithful to the comics (the Phoenix saga is an epic story), this film is a way better incarnation of the Phoenix than the previous "XMEN the last stand." Sophie Turner performs wonderfully as the lead. And the other actors do a fine job as well. The movie has great visuals, special effects, and a satisfying story line and character arc. Go see it for yourself and make up your own mind. It's unfortunate that such negative reviews have seemingly caused a low turnout at the movies. I enjoyed watching it and would watch it again.
