I was worries when i heard that the film was polarizing, but I feel that this is a Man of Steel moment where fans are mixed now, but love it later for the following reasons:
1. Red Hulk is not milked like some villains are, and the payoff is climactic AND cathartic.
2. All characters serve a purpose in the film.
3. The political commentary is subtle and not forced.
4. It sets up many storylines for the future while honoring what came before.
5. The performances (specifically Ford, Nelson, Esposito, and Mackie) are masterclass.
6. Humor does not dominate the film; I’d go far as to label it the most serious Marvel movie since Eternals.
