Season 1 ended as I expected, a bunch of unresolved plot lines and many questions about the red herrings. Brolin recreates his "No Country For Old Men" character, Lily Taylor is sadly underutilized but has an unexpected fit of histrionics that seems way out of character in Ep 8. It was good to see Will Patton break his nice guy (Armageddon & Remember the Titans) Both ranching famiily spend little time ranching, mostly they hang out in dark bars, drive around in dark trucks and deceive one another. I found it hard to see what was going on because - except for sunny outdoor shots - the who show is too visually dark. Seriously everything takes place at night, in bars, dark truck, woods and dim houses. But mostly too many unresolved plot lines.
