Dennis Telleck

I've read a few other earlier Eve Dallas books, maybe from 10 years ago, and liked them better. This story line and plot is intriguing but the characters of The Twelve are not well developed. I got this as an audio book and thought the narrator put way too much emotion and drama into simple scenes. Rather than make an observation or comment, she would overdramatize it and then follow up with a pithy return comment from another person, usually Peabody. Robb has written better books.
