Since I am doing Actuary, and probability/statistics is the bread and butter of Actuaries I thought I'd give this one a read. Highly recommended. The pedagogy is second to none. However, when a Mathematician says, " for the enthusiastic beginner" - knowing full well how modest and underated they in their use of language- we know that it is going to be a challenge and require some earnest effort on behalf of the student. I did find it inmensely helpful in grasping a more natural and intuitive sense of probaility.
