Just pure tension for the whole book, literally gives you no time to take a breath. Maybe that’s the beauty of the story, but personally not for me. The characters are great, but it seems like Liva is only there to be antagonized. She’s very 2-dimensional compared to the others. The author doesn’t go into her motive at all which I find frustrating
