The recent report regarding the Wild Horses VS Cattle Ranchers was so flawed and one sided to the advantage of ranchers that it was ridiculous. What could have been a change to finally report this complex issue in a comprehensive way that would inform everyone turned into a poor unfairly treated ranchers and tax payers. It failed to mention that ranchers pay basically nothing to graze cattle on Federal and PUBLIC land, that cattle destroy riparian areas vital for all wildlife and that taxpayers fork out millions of dollars to kill coyotes, wolves and other predators that prey on cattle that don't belong there in the first lace. Yes there needs to be a plan that addresses Wild horse populations but that doesn't include rounding them up and selling them to unscrupulous horse killers. Cattle ranchers should not have primary consideration. As drought worses in the west these lands should be managed even more carefully without consideration for ranchers who should graze cattle on their own land.
