Absolute gatbage compared to the last 2. The first time i got the show was the show 19, and i loved it. The show 20 was even better, and the best part was i didnt have to abandon everything i had done or everything i knew from the last game, i could carry over data from 19 into 20, and the games were pracrically the same, with any changes being slight, almost unnoticeable improvements. But this game, oh man, this game is horrible. The gameplay has taken a downturn, "road to the show", the career-mode, has been ruined. You cant chose your postion before hand, youre automatically a pitcher and you have to wait to do that. You cant have more than one career at one time anymore, even madden lets you do that still, and i literally simulated 10 seasons just to see roughly how long it takes to get to the majors, i never made it past triple-A. Plus, in 10 seasons, my player went from 58 OVR to a whopping 64 OVR, and with no more training to manually upgrade your player, that was out of my control. As a player, i couldnt control my player's progression. Pathetic. Stadium creation seems cool on paper, but they certainly dropped the ball on that, i spent 3 hours making a stadium, saved it, only to never see it again. And theres no AI aids to halep you line stuff up, you have to eye-ball everything you place. Pure Frustration. A complete waist of 70 dollars, im legit pissed, i played it for 5 hours, checked out all the modes and features, and then just went back to playing the show 20. San Diego Studios, if you see this, please fix this game or at least make the Show 22 more like the Show 20, you know, a good game. Whoever greenlight this was an idiot to let it go out.
