The primary issue I have with this movie is how dull the first half was. There were hardly any nerve-wracking scenes; in fact, very little seemed to happen. I nearly dozed off, but my curiosity kept me awake, lol. Only in the latter half did we finally experience some thrilling moments, such as the cornfield scene and the intense birthing sequence. Now, discussing the ending, I don't despise it, but I feel it could have been executed more effectively. The conclusion felt rushed, leaving me unable to appreciate the father's ingenious efforts to combat the aliens. This was disappointing, especially considering the extensive setup showing the father's meticulous research in his makeshift lab or secret chamber (whatever it was). He even crafted a hearing aid for his daughter. However, in the end, all they did was shoot the aliens. It was like... oh my goodness, I felt as though I wasted my time watching this movie, only for it to conclude in such a manner.
