Masterful, Painterly, a Modern Masterpiece... POE Fanz.. Yes.. Nice extension on his creation and a whole new audience exposed to his works... And maybe one of the only ways to expose it because it's not going to be taught in any High School or Grade School... Well acted... Scary... human... and about the greed, and love we all feel... the complicated good and bad in all of us... If you are a POE purist, you won't like it.. (my guess is you want a gothic expression of it...) but ingeniously written and my opinion is it's a masterpiece work... If you aren't familiar with POE... read him before you watch this... it will give you a better feeling of this man who wrote from the deepest sadness inside him...
