The day to day life of a black family and how the white man could get away with murder of a black man that was in love. How could family turn on family to get ahead and still sleep at night. It also shows Billie Holiday’s song Strange Fruit. I grew up in the summer seasons of Columbia, South Carolina and saw plenty of wrong doing and up north was the same but a black man was able to work not make the same just allowed to live.
