Likely the greatest, most revered, most talked about show the Grateful Dead ever played. Certainly one of the best sounding audio recordings of the Dead to ever circulate on cassette and otherwise. Growing up in Central NY, I remember being in 8th grade, on a Friday (May 7th, 1977), and hearing kids in my home room saying that they were going to see "The Grateful Dead" in Ithaca at Cornell University the next night. Huh? The grateful who? I hadn't a clue. Not on my radar. Turns out they saw a very historic show indeed.
