Seemingly a time during the medieval period in Britain in a small village that is steeped in superstition and religious zealotry where mainly women are treated badly and easily condemned as witches !

WOW ! Strap yourselves in and hold on to your seats ! This is one action pack movie ! Sure there are a lot of computer graphics but it's much more than that.

Absolutely BRILLIANT ! A dark tale that illustrates quite a detailed insight into the circumstances in a person's life that can create a homicidal/suicidal madman ! A brilliant director, amazing sets and great acting. Joaquin Phoenix was excellent as JOKER !
