JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek are the only reason we watched the entire season. But I can not believe how horribly boring every episode was. This series went nowhere. There was so little substance to the story. So slow moving, and honestly, lacked a story in general. At times it reminded me of Lost where those writers forgot to answer some parts. If this was a 90 min TV movie, maybe it would have been “fine”, still slow and boring, but fine. But 10 hours of almost nothing? Do not bother watching this. It goes nowhere! Except till the last 60 seconds opening for a second season that we definitely won’t be watching.
