The writing flowed so effortlessly I almost forgot I was reading. The characters and the settings were well drawn and I can still picture them clearly. As for Korede's dilemma, you felt for her, and knew there wasn't an answer that would preserve all the people she cared about. I was tense throughout the book, and the ending still haunts me. Brilliant.
