As always, Allen's work is original, the dialogue is witty and romantic, and the score essentially engenders the music of a New York City piano bar. I don't understand why his films often get so many negative reviews. It may possibly be a reaction by some of his critics that are disturbed about some of his personal issues that should never be a consideration as a basis of reviewing his work. He has always impressed me as a brilliant comedy writer and has always awarded me with his prolific and diverse work. I also love his personal tastes in the scoring of his films. I truly hope this 85 year old genius can continue entertaining me with at least another great addition to his legacy.
