Loved it. These people aren’t actors. Also this is literally how the industry is. Some people literally behave like that at work, coasting by, letting the team carry them and still benefiting from the money. I’ve literally worked with people like this. I think hospitality is the only industry where “Do your job,” is a key phrase. I’m bringing in $700 tip, the slacker is bringing in $150, doing no side work, standing against the wall, tables aren’t crumbed and it’s a pooled house…now I’m leaving with less money splitting it with a lazy person. That’s what makes Lisa Vanderpump genius, she’s good at picking the right people and the field does the rest of the work for her. I can think of ten people right now who are like Adrian and Sianna. We had an entire bartender lie named REM lie about having experience, after x amount of times working there she didn’t know the table numbers. When she transferred the table to me they ended up getting a lesser bill and we lost money. There’s a girl who after ten brunches still didn’t know how to make a fucking mimosa and poured white wine with orange juice…tasted it and thought it was acceptable. Don’t even get me started with what’s her name? Seraphina. I could go on. Then there was Jeremiah, literally from the midwest, had a Scottish accent after attending college there…just like Siadi, everyone was confused.
