Story is badly told, i would never rewatch any episode due to that.. Hobbits are shown just to recapture LotR trilogy, which btw, stuck to canon.. Almost all the elves in LoTR trilogy were blonde haired, no beard, fair, looked to be the same race, all this diversity in them now makes them look out of place. got nothing to do with true diversity because i dont see any asian elves or indian elves, only white and a black elf, which is doing a great job for his role with what hes been given.. wish the directors gave him a more realistic role, like a human from the east in the lands of the haradrim. Simply couldve said he is from there and put him in the mix. The male elves were cowardly when traveling with Galadriel in episode 1, also not canon. Basically its not what tolkien envisioned but i blame his estate, directors for hating fans of the content they are piggybacking off of.. They get a project and want to make it their own. Its not, its tolkiens so just make what he made. if u dont like it or its not diverse enough pick something else. its called racist to disagree, but literally could care less what its called at this point. Im not racist, and i enjoy TRUE diversity in original ideas and movies just not whatever this is, which isnt true diversity bc there are no asians or indians,
