The movie is average but there are many problems with it. If you are kind of tired of the marvel movie humor, you are gonna hate this. Like every 2 mins there is a quip or joke. The worst part is they are not even funny. As far as story is concerned, if you are a long time fan, consider this as non canon or you'd get a headache with what they have done here. The overall tone doesn't feel like the story has any stakes because of the excessive humor. I mean these guys are going to war and just can't seem to shut their mouths for a second. The character are probably the worst part of this movie. Alita one and bumblebee are insufferable. Alita always keeps reminding everyone around her that she is better than them verbally. It came to a point that I actively wished someone would kill her. I wished Bumblebee died too but for different reasons. He doesn't shut up like god, whenever he opens his mouth it feels like a grade schooler's attempt at making jokes. Finally the villain is basically a disney villian in a princess movie. He is basically the villian in the movie Wish. All the ruthless decepticons are played for jokes with one of them complaining when he gets punched in the face. The only positive is Orion and D16 relationship. The evolution of their relationship is the crux of the movie and carries it. If this movie was just those 2 it would have been infinitely better. This movie is just not it if you are a transformers fan and if you are not then it may barely work for you.
